Homeless Person’s Memorial & Candlelight Vigil

Every year, the HOPE Center – Rapid City hosts a memorial and candlelight vigil to honor the homeless and poverty-stricken that passed away that year. Bags lit with candles line the stage steps, each bearing the name of a brother or sister we lost. This vigil is held in the middle of winter, on typically one of the coldest nights of the year, to give the average person an idea of the conditions some people have to sleep in.
