You have heard this before: your wedding day will go by so fast, and the only thing you will take home are the photos- which you will cherish for years to come. Choosing the right person to photograph your special day is important. Not only are you entrusting your photographer to document one of the most important days of your life, you will also be opening up your space and private moments to this person.
I want to capture all the details you put so much time into planning, and all of the moments from the mimosa’s and make-up to your first dance – and everything in between. I approach weddings with a photojournalistic style, capturing the candid moments of laughter, tears, and tenderness. Over the years, I have streamlined my process to make it as simple as possible for my clients. During the consultation, I provide my clients with a Shot Wish List, so I know what images the Bride and Groom want captured as well. From that list I create a Shooting Schedule so the families and wedding party know when they are needed for any posed photos. No two couples are alike, so I try to make images that reflect each couple’s individual style and taste, and their love.
To make it even easier for my Brides and Grooms, I have recently started offering custom-designed Wedding Suites! I can create everything you will need for your big day, from the Save the Dates to the Thank You cards. Each Wedding Suite is customized using imagery, colors and fonts that compliment the Bride and Groom. The standard Wedding Suite cost is $800 and includes: 100 Bride & Groom name cards; 100 Save the Date cards; 100 RSVP Cards & Envelopes; 100 Invitations & Envelopes; 100 Guest Information Cards; 100 Menus; 100 Thank You cards & Envelopes; and a Social Media Bundle that includes an animated Instagram Story and a Facebook cover photo! Cost: My base price for shooting weddings is $1500 and includes 7 hours of shooting (travel time not included; weddings outside of Rapid City will have travel cost added to base price). Extra shooting time can be added at the rate of $150/hour. Engagement portraits can be added to any wedding for $200.
What you get: Clients get 200+ high-resolution, digital images plus print rights; Social Media bundle which includes an Instagram Story & Post, and a Facebook cover photo; and a (limited) online gallery to share with family & friends! Prints and albums can be ordered for additional costs.
