I have felt betrayed by the very people I put all my trust in.
Throughout my life, I have felt brokenness that has fractured my ability to completely trust,
love and believe. I have found myself
accepting behaviors in men that are
not acceptable characteristics in
others that I have chosen to
surround myself with. I often
desire the compassion,
conversation and presence
of a man, but will settle for
just intimate relations.

A friend of mine had done
a photo shoot in the BARE series.
Through her photos, I felt that she found a sense of empowerment, confidence and freedom that
I wanted to feel.
I want to make a statement and
have it captured in a beautiful way.
