South Dakota Newspaper Association Awards

In 2017 I was honored to win two South Dakota Newspaper Association awards for my work at Native Sun News Today. I won 1st Place for a photo series I did called ‘A Hero Comes Home’ which covered the return of a Lakota soldier’s remains to Pine Ridge for burial and I won 2nd Place for a Feature Series on Whiteclay.
